Swapping tokens is the most common way to interact with any decentralized exchange (DEX). XP.FUN offers a hassle-free swap function for seamless trading.
Swap Functionality: Exchange tokens you own for a proportional amount of another token.
Liquidity Pools: Trades are executed against passive liquidity pools, where liquidity providers earn bonuses based on their committed capital.
Token Selection:
First Token (From): Select the token you want to swap from.
Second Token (To): Select the token you want to receive.
Note: One side of the swap must always be ETH.
Switch Direction:
Use the arrow icon between the two fields to toggle the direction of the swap (buy or sell).
Max Amount:
Click the "MAX" button to automatically fill the field with the maximum amount available.
Default Tokens:
By default, only ETH and XP appear in the token list.
Adding Other Tokens:
Paste the token's contract address into the search field to swap tokens not listed by default.
Review Swap Details:
Ensure the amounts and selected tokens are correct.
Check the estimated amounts you'll receive.
Adjust Settings (If Needed):
For advanced options like Slippage Tolerance, refer to the Swap Settings section.
Execute the Swap:
Click the "Swap" button.
A confirmation prompt will appear from your wallet.
Approve the Transaction:
Confirm the transaction in your wallet's pop-up.
Wait for the transaction to be processed on the blockchain.
Transaction Notification:
Your wallet will notify you when the transaction is completed or if it fails.
Check Balances:
The updated token balances will be displayed in the "Balances" section after a token has been selected.
Tip: Refresh the page if your new balance isn't showing correctly.
Price Impact and Slippage:
Large trades relative to pool liquidity may have significant price impact.
Adjust your Slippage Tolerance if necessary, especially during high volatility.
For more details, see the Price Impact and Slippage section.
Network Fees:
Ensure you have enough ETH to cover gas fees for the transaction.
Token Verification:
Always double-check the contract address when adding new tokens to avoid scams.
